Meet and Greet '16

Salam alaikum to brothers and sisters,

We had our first official event on 2016 with our returning and new members, which was Meet and Greet. The main objective of this event is to introduce committees and explain their job scopes. We also present the activities that we had plan throughout for the year. We opened for questions, concern and suggestions from the members to listen for their needs and to get better in the future.

As we have diverse members which come from all sorts of countries, the committees feel the responsibility to unite all members in a way where we can communicate between one another. So, this was also a great chance for the members to get to know each other. Thank you to those who came and keep supporting us because we also would like the best to be delivered to you.

It was an honor the VicMuslims Club to welcome the club's President from V-ISA (VUWSA International Students' Association) and WMSO (Wellington Malaysian Students' Organisation) which is also one of our members for this year. We are truly pleased for their presence and support to join for our event. We hope, this is also the initiator for better cooperation for our next future.

Isra Mikraj Talk 2017

After the Prophet performed the Evening Prayer  (^Ish a '), Jibr i l  came to him with a white animal, slightly larger than a donkey yet smaller than a mule. This animal was the  bur aq ,--one of the animals of Paradise.  Jibr i l  held the  bur aq  by his ear and told the Prophet to mount it. When the  bur aq  was mounted, the Prophet   set forth.  The  bur aq  is a very fast animal; the length of the  bur aq 's  stride is the farthest distance it's eye can see. The Prophet and  Jibr i l  arrived to a land with palm trees.  Jibr i l  told the Prophet to dismount and pray, so the Prophet dismounted the  bur aq  and prayed two  rak^as .  Jibr i l  asked him, "Do you know where you prayed?" and the Prophet answered, " All a h  knows best."  Jibr i l  told him, "This is  Yathrib ; this is  T aybah . Vicmuslim Annual Grand Meeting

Hi and assalamualaikum everyone! Thank you for making the AGM and solatul hajat program a success one! We hope everyone had safely gone back home with their happy stomach and soul hehe Sadly, that was our last event for this year 😢 We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have actively participated in the club's activities for these past one year. There are not enough words to fully express our heartfelt thanks for the love and support you have extended to this club. Here is a virtual flower for you 🌹 Next year will be a fresh start for the new executive members, so do join us to see what they can offer to this club!
